What does this cover beyond scheduling?

Scheduling is where a job starts, but the same record carries everything that follows it. The scheduled job becomes the digital job card on the technician's phone, with the tasks, parts, photographs, time on site and the client's signature captured against it. From that card the office raises the quote or the VAT invoice without retyping a line, sends it by WhatsApp or email with a payment link, and files it under the customer so the history is there next time. Reports read from the same jobs: how many were completed, how long they took against the estimate, which technician did them and what they earned. So the scheduling feature is really the job record, and the calendar, the job card, the invoice and the report are four views of one thing rather than four systems that have to agree.

A job report is produced from the job card when the work is signed off, not written afterwards from memory. It carries the customer and site, the technician, the arrival and departure times from the check-in, the tasks completed with any notes, the parts used with quantities, the photographs taken on site in order, the client's signature and the outcome. It can be sent to the customer by email or WhatsApp from the job as a PDF, shared through the client portal, or kept internal, and a customer copy leaves out internal notes and costs. For a managing agent or an insurer the report is the evidence that the work happened as described; for the business it is the record a dispute is settled with, produced by the same taps that closed the job.

Importing an existing customer list from a spreadsheet takes a few minutes more and is the step most businesses do first. Adding technicians is an invitation by email or WhatsApp; they install the app from a link rather than an app store and see their jobs the same day. The price list, the invoice template and the branding can wait until the first invoice needs them. Most small teams run a week of jobs alongside their existing paper or diary before switching, which is what the 30 day trial on paid plans is for.

Does the AI scheduler assign jobs on its own?

No. The scheduling assistant suggests; a person assigns. When a job comes in it proposes a technician and a slot based on skills, current workload, location and the day's route, and it can propose an order for a technician's stops. Each suggestion is shown with its reasoning and is accepted, changed or ignored by the dispatcher, and nothing reaches a technician's phone until someone confirms it. That is deliberate: the office knows things the data does not, such as which technician a particular client asks for or who is finishing early, and a suggestion that can be overridden in one tap is more useful than an automation that has to be undone. The assistant improves the dispatcher's speed; it does not replace the dispatcher's judgement. Every suggestion is also logged, so a business can see later how often the proposal was accepted and whether it saved time.

Is it worth it for a two-person business?

Yes, and it costs nothing to find out. The Free plan covers up to two users and 300 jobs a month with no time limit and no card, which is most two-person trade businesses. What changes at that size is not the scheduling, which fits in a diary, but what happens after it: the job card is on the phone instead of a book, the invoice goes out from site with a payment link instead of at month end, and the customer history builds itself. Those three things are where a small business loses money, and they are included on the Free plan. When a third person joins, a technician seat is added at the published price and nothing else changes.
