How do payment reminders work?

You set the schedule once and reminders go out before the due date, on the due date and after it. They are sent by email and WhatsApp, the two customer channels Omni Field supports. Any single invoice can be opted out where a customer has agreed something different with you, so the chase stays polite.

Can late fees be applied automatically?

Yes. Define the rule once and late fees apply themselves to overdue invoices without anyone having to remember. Because the rule is set in advance, the charge lands consistently across customers rather than as a judgement call. Individual invoices can be excluded where you have agreed different terms.

Can I issue a credit note?

Yes. Credit notes are raised against an existing invoice and are VAT-aware, so the tax position stays correct for your accountant. Customer statements show a dated running balance, and the accounts receivable ageing report shows what is outstanding and for how long. All three export when month end comes around.

How do customers actually pay?

They open the pay-now link on the invoice and settle by card or instant EFT in Rand, and the invoice reconciles itself when the payment lands. The link works from an email, a WhatsApp message or the client portal, at any hour. Card collection through the invoice runs on a linked South African bank account.
